Marx believed that guns were a means to an end, to bring about his ideological ideas. Yet, Marxists today are anti-gun, so go figure.

I think most republicans absolutely disagree with that statement. Can he get away that. Probably not and it probably wouldn't happen. Unfortunately Trump is known to toss out statements without vetting the consequences. But he's not the first president nor the last to say something and back peddle.

Because every time we have one of these mass shootings, we usually find out that the person involved was known to be crazy by everyone in his life, but he had no problem getting a gun.
