In our state, they've taken food stamps, Medicare, rural hospitals and nursing homes have closed due to the lack of Medicare funding, misspent funds dedicated to TANF and used it for other programs, etc. etc.
Their changes to the healthcare program are going to make it impossible for millions to receive insurance coverage--way too expensive to afford. And I hear more cuts to Medicare are on the horizon?
Where is the infrastructure plan to benefit everyone (and create a billion jobs)? More important to build a stupid Wall on the southern border or spend a couple billion sending 15,000 troops to "stand off" to a few hundred Hondurans.

Nothing Obama did to keep us from nosediving into a perfect Great Depression can be compared to what the Republicans just passed for a budget. Obama didn't crash the economy--it had begun before he got there. He reluctantly spent trillions to keep us from being in breadlines again.

Remember the last omnibus spending bill to pass? The Democrats HAD to have a tunnel running out of New York yet then turn around and complain that the budget is not balanced.

You want to balance the budget and pay down the deficit and have all the welfare programs. Yet when there are people talking about everyone having a job and paying taxes instead of being on welfare you go off the deep end.

Got to love the give to the rich bull. If we gave you five thousand how many full time permanent jobs would you have ready in a year? At one point JFK followed the exact same policy and had a booming economy. JFK is even considered a great president. Yet Trump and the Republicans follow the same strategy and are vilified? Possible that it is partisan politics?

Nothing Obama did to keep us from nosediving into a perfect Great Depression can be compared to what the Republicans just passed for a budget. Obama didn't crash the economy--it had begun before he got there. He reluctantly spent trillions to keep us from being in breadlines again.
Obama had actually managed to decrease the debt a bit the last couple years of his administration.

Give it up. Obama was a marginal president at very best and decidedly inconsequential.

My parents used to bag me a lunch when I was in grade school. So yes, parents should be bagging lunch for their kids. It only takes 5 - 10 minutes to accomplish. Or even better, do it the night before while looking over the kids' homework and getting their stuff ready.

This is just like it's the parents' responsibility to pick a school that is appropriate for their children. If they don't like the default public schools, either home school or pick a private school that teaches what and how they like.
