Harley Riders

I had a K1000 for a while. It reminded me of as sewing machine on the road. Really high center of gravity on that thing, and a long way to the ground for my feet.

But it was smooth, that's for sure. BMW's are expensive as hell to work on. Friend of mine has a K1600, his scheduled services are outrageous.
Ridden a K 1200 LT....Pure pussy....I'll eat the relatively more costly service costs for what it offers.

Looks like the Harley CEO has finally backed down though he blamed the "negativity and decisiveness on right wing social media" instead of realizing he is the problem, he is the divisive one. It seems however that may not be good enough to save Harley at least not until he's gone.

Thinking about selling my bagger. I don't ride as much as I used to.
That, and it weighs 900 pounds.
Maybe get a used dyna for barhopping.

My latest vintage ride...

Gave my buddy my old 82 Honda Nighthawk I rode for years.
He is working on it with his son. Will have to ask his progress next week when I see them.
Low compression, but still fired right up.

So you found it a home, instead of taking to Sport Wheels....Awesome!
Yeah, was about to bring it there, when he called and asked about it.
Sure have missed riding the last couple years, but I get my speed rush in winter with my old Polaris Ultra SP 700.

1997, but will still do over 100 mph before I get skeered.

Those older Honda CBs aren't very expensive....That cherry I nabbed only set me back $3k...I bet a good 750 Nighthawk would be half that.
