Hard to believe my 37 year old daughter was once a kid.

At the time, the photo here was taken around 1995. I was 39 years younger than now.
She is now a registered nurse. She has 2 children. They are all adorable.

It's a joy to raise children and watch them grow into adults.

It's also sad when they leave home to pursue their own dreams.

I'm constantly thinking of all the great times me and the wife had with our children when they were all home.

Every day I think, "How was this 25 years ago, or 15? Wasn't that like, last year?"

I too had a lovely blonde little girl once. She is forty now. She has had many worthwhile accomplishments, but the most important is having three children, my perfect grandchildren.

She has her own daughter now who is 3 years old. History repeats. She and her husband are on the right path to wealth. They have several rental properties.

She surprised me several years ago by stopping being called the name the family called her and she changed to using her first name which was also my mothers name. She was raised by all of us calling her by her middle name that was designed to honor my fathers name.

My kids know where I grew up and what I did when I was a kid, and we know the things my Daddy did. But I never thought of my Grandmother as a kid. And then I saw a picture of her as a young woman, with this gorgeous hair that flowed all the way down to her waist. She was so beautiful. I was just blown away.

My kids know where I grew up and what I did when I was a kid, and we know the things my Daddy did. But I never thought of my Grandmother as a kid. Children provide parents and grandparents hours of joy discussing them and things they do.
I wish I still looked like I did that time the photo of me and my daughter was taken.

Correction to my OP. I was 29 years younger than now. I am good at math but sure flubbed that up.
