The actress turns 68 years of age today.

Just watched "Buffalo Girls" again tonight in which Melanie Griffith and Angelica Huston play the two starring roles but there are a lot of other memorable characters and recognizable actors in that miniseries made into a movie on DVD too. Hard to call it a historical movie though there are historical characteris in it--Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill Cody, Annie Oakley. But the plot almost certainly didn't happen the way it is in the movie anyway. And then there's characters Jim Ragg and Bartle Bone--best friends, Bartle and Jaymes (yuck yuck.)

Actually a decent and entertainining movie that is pretty historically accurate as to setting and ambiance if the plot is mostly pure fiction.
