Of all the annoying changes & differences with the new system vs the old...…….this has to be the worst....


After taking the time, doing research and preparing a lengthy response with links and argument, when hitting submit I'm locked out of the thread because of mod action, is really irritating when the thread is locked & closed from further replies...…...but what's worse is when threads are merged, and my whole response is GONE and have to start over. I ain't playing that.....atleast in the old system, it would save my response and I could chose to either resubmit or delete as appropriate.

One correction to the above: Mr. Lucy takes care of me, WHEN I am Off Duty I am as always a lady of leisure and I have him very well trained for example in the MOST important things, examples of the MOST important things are below:

I sit there and he paints my fingernails and toe nails.

I sit there and he brings me ice cream he has personally made in his ice cream machine.

When I am allowed to drink, I sit there and he mixes my Martini's, I of course TAUGHT him EVERYTHING he knows about how to mix Martini's.

I sit there and without prompting he will make me a ham sammich.

I sit there and without prompting he grills bacon for me.

I sit there and we have GREAT discussions about Domestic things and how to do something and we discuss these things for like an HOUR sometimes and Mr. Lucy gives his own opinions about these things and then after the hour discussion he AGREES that YES I was CORRECT and he'll do things how I suggested,

He is of course adorable and VERY intelligent and handsome and charming and I worship him and he is FANTASTIC with our kidlets, he has always been hands-on with them and he gets 10 out of 10 from Day Nanny AND Night Nanny, who now both are living with us. I made the correct choice with Mr. Lucy, he is dependable and he would never let anyone down, he literally is the type you would want to be in a bunker with....of course you also literally would want ME in that bunker also because I am military trained in all the guns and I would shoot first and not allow ANY questions after

That has nothing to do with the new "system." While you were composing a message, the mod probably closed the thread, that is all. Copy your work, then you can either past it wherever it was moved, or somewhere else appropriate. THat is all, no big deal. Shit happens.

It DOES have to do with this new system/site change or whatever the hell happened awhile back...….and of course the mod closed the thread in order to do their action which this time was to merge threads, when it's open for replies again, whatever I had composed was lost and not retained like it was before the new site changes (not thread changes)


I'm not copying every friggin post 'just in case' it's caught in moderation

Yes he is fit and no he does not have a bad back Yes Kid F is due in September, but I intend to keep doing what I think is my important work right up until about a week before Kid F arrive and then I will have three weeks off and get back to what I think is my important work, I mean I'm not an invalid I'm ONLY having a kidlet.

That has nothing to do with the new "system." While you were composing a message, the mod probably closed the thread, that is all. Copy your work, then you can either past it wherever it was moved, or somewhere else appropriate. THat is all, no big deal. Shit happens.

It DOES have to do with this new system/site change or whatever the hell happened awhile back...….and of course the mod closed the thread in order to do their action which this time was to merge threads, when it's open for replies again, whatever I had composed was lost and not retained like it was before the new site changes (not thread changes)

It is now 05.16AM I have not been up this late for....about FOUR months, this is already like 5 or 6 hours past when I usually am in the bed. Not sure why I am still awake. Weird.

Of all the annoying changes & differences with the new system vs the old...…….this has to be the worst....
After taking the time, doing research and preparing a lengthy response with links and argument, when hitting submit I'm locked out of the thread because of mod action, is really irritating when the thread is locked & closed from further replies...…...but what's worse is when threads are merged, and my whole response is GONE and have to start over. Wow! You really DO burn your candle at both ends. It's 10:22PM here in Indiana, so you're 7 hours ahead of me. I've loved staying up late since I was a teenager. I normally stay up until 3AM my time, sometimes a bit earlier, sometimes a bit later. I just love the QUIET of being up past midnight. It's so calm and serene. I hope you get some rest soon.

I used to stay up late all the time for random periods because of Insomnia, but for some time now I have been okay and having to go to the bed at normal times and getting up to go to my office for 4AM or 5AM and so this is very weird tonight being up without going to the bed, not sure why my brain is so hyper at this hour. I think I now go to the bed and get up at approx 10.00AM.

That calm & serene quiet happens when you wake up at 3 or 4 am as well. Love watching the sunrise, and hearing the birds chirping...unless of course their chirping is what woke me up, then it's not so good

Understand the frustration of getting shut out on a thread close...
But on MERGES -- there shouldn't ever be any lost posts.. If you're posting at the moment of a merge, your submission should be the LATEST post in the merged thread.

You should still be able to FIND the thread, because a "redirect link" stays in the listings for as long as the mod sets it to stay.. ( supposed to be more than an hour -- some set longer than others). Or if you have an OLD post alert to the thread you THOUGHT you posting in -- that old link should TAKE you to the new thread..

Don't think any of this changed in the new Release -- or maybe I'm not understanding here...
