Only in California, Griffith Park to become the site for a new homeless shelter. For the mere cost of $4.6 Million, capable of housing 100 people. Damn, that's $46,000 each, can't these loons figure out a better way to spend that kind of money?

I have no problem with them doing it. Just wanted to point out Virginia Beach went in the opposite direction and turned a dump into a park, complete with an appropriate name:
