Greenland would be willing to give him what he wants

Military bases?
We used to have 17 now we have one.
I am sure they would welcome an expanded US military presence

Mining of rare minerals?
If we offered to split the mining profits in exchange for exclusive use, I am sure Greenland would have jumped at it.

But Trump has used up all goodwill with Greenland and Denmark. They would probably offer to any country BUT the US
