You heard that right, solar power has taken the life of a 76 year old woman in NYC. It was a windy day near the Ocean Parkway train station entrance in Brooklyn when a solar panel blew loose off the roof of a nearby carport striking and killing her on the walkway below about 20 feet away.

Just remember, no one has ever been killed by a flying chunk of coal, running water, or an errant natural gas pipe, meanwhile the death toll from wind generators and now solar panels marches on.

Green energy is just not worth the risk of dying over, if you ask me.

Wind turbines put carbon fibers in our lungs. How good is that

Leading edge damage is criminal. Epoxy, solvent, plastic, paint, tons (literally) of chemicals just coming off. Dust size particles, cancer causing, carcinogens. Toxic. This is happening in Iowa, all across our nations farmland

You know water and electricity are a bad mix ... criminal the number of electrocutions here in the Pacific Northwest since they built Bonneville Dam ... and the stupids keep build hydro-electric dams .... I mean DAMN ... who's stupider? ...

Total idiocy on your part. Two boys killed in because of a natural gas pipeline explosion in the state of Washington.

Running water? LOL
The Teton Dam disaster

Deadly

The Teton Dam disaster in Idaho is one of the most tragic and significant dam failures in U.S. history. On June 5, 1976, the Teton Dam, located on the Teton River in eastern Idaho, collapsed catastrophically during the first filling of its reservoir. This failure resulted in a catastrophic flood that devastated the communities of Rexburg and Sugar City, killing 11 people and injuring many others. The disaster also caused extensive property damage, with estimates reaching over $400 million. The collapse was attributed to a series of design and construction flaws, and it led to the establishment of the Bureau of Reclamation's Dam Safety program, which is now recognized as a global standard for dam safety. The Teton Dam disaster serves as a cautionary tale about the importance of careful engineering and safety measures in dam construction.

Coal? Damn, you have to be a cretin not to know the terrible loss of life in the coal mine in our nation. There has not been a year since this record started in 1900 when there was not a fatality in coal mining. Some years that passed over 2800 men killed.

Not having electricity.

Well they did say wind energy would create, high, paying jobs. They sure did

As a matter of fact;

In the wind energy industry, various jobs have different salary ranges:

As opposed to the heavy metals coming out of the coal generators. LOL And when will we have the next Fukushima or Chernobyl?

Best friend, first cousin, and fellow millwright died from a cancer related to asbestos. We have known of the dangers of asbestos since 1900. So where were your bitchin' ilk between then and now? Oh yeah, it only matters if it is part of your insane political idiocies.

Total idiocy on your part.

Glad you think someone dying is funny. Every solar panel ever mounted on a house is a deadly projectile in the waiting. Can you just imagine if that house were ever hit by a hurricane or tornado???

Where do you think expoxies plastics and fiberglass cone from you mental midget. They come from Coal and Nuclear power!

Wind and solar creat more heavy metal toxic waste than every industry

$85k is peanuts in this economy. I worked on solar and wind, I know what they pay and nobody wants the jobs
