It is both widely-reported and obvious that American Yoot has become less inclined to pursue motorcycling. To me it seems that the combination of stratospheric prices for new bikes and fewer "gear head" Yoots spell, if not doom, then hard times ahead for MC manufacturer trying to sell their products here in the U.S.

But goodness gracious, a quick scan of the bikes available on my local Craigslist discloses a LOT of excellent bikes at ridiculously low prices. I can't remember another time when so many good bikes were available at such low prices.

I have always liked the Honda Goldwing.
They are smooth, quiet and reliable.

When I was growing up, you could buy a nice bike new for $995.00.

Progressives are afraid of gears, gas fumes and loud motors.
