Maybe parents could do that with their kids like they should?I wonder why no one thought of it sooner, Democrats to busy indoctrinating students I suppose

I like the idea of teaching kids about budgeting, taxes, investing etc, but algebra shouldn’t be dropped from the curriculum for it. My kids actually had a personal finance class in high school (yes, it cost me $80k to send 2 kids to a private high school). Maybe we can drop art history or pottery instead of algebra.
You would think so since it really only takes basic mathematics to do it.If you can understand algebra, than personal finance is easy to understand.
Why do you want the schools teaching things the parents should be?I wonder why no one thought of it sooner, Democrats to busy indoctrinating students I suppose

I know and may of the twenty year olds have given up.Unfortunately, many parents don’t even know.Maybe parents could do that with their kids like they should?I wonder why no one thought of it sooner, Democrats to busy indoctrinating students I suppose

Nobody taught me but then again I was supporting the family at fourteen by working and budgeting..

That would be nice, assuming their parents were qualified to teach their kids about it. I heard over 75% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, so apparently most people are not qualified.
For those of you who support this idea, I suggest contacting your local school boards as many schools have the exact type of program you are advocating. Pretending it doesn't exist is just your own ignorance showing!
That should be covered in Home EconomicsI wonder why no one thought of it sooner, Democrats to busy indoctrinating students I suppose
