Graduation!

A lot of graduations this time of year (of course). It was great to see so many kids who had worked so hard to get there. Some kids had overcome physical and emotional obstacles, or circumstances that would be hard to explain. They were rightfully proud of themselves. For some, they were the first in their family to ever graduate high school. For others, they were on their way to being the first in their family to enroll in college. Lots of pictures, lots of hugs (including the awkward sideways one arm bro-hug). Bumped fists so many times my knuckles were bleeding. A great day for some great young people.

Next week is a big week for me at the school where I work... I probably won't be posting much....

For some, they were the first in their family to ever graduate high school.

This should be very rare in America today.
