Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Great State of Oklahoma has once again taken a step out in front by declaring that municipalities do not have the authority to individually enact minimum wage laws.

Now I realize that some are going to say how horrible Oklahoma is and how they would never live here. A state full of rednecks, pick up trucks, guns, scrub brush, rattle snakes and scorpions. A place where only the tornados would routinely visit. Searing heat in the summer and numbing cold in the winter. Micro-bursts that routinely top 100MPH and hail stones the size of softballs. Brush fires driven by hot, dry prairie winds and floods that can wash away whole towns in the blink of an eye. Surely, a terrible, terrible place.

So stay where you are. Feel sorry for us... but feel sorry for us at a distance. PLEASE!
