What a disgrace Biden is as he cements his position as worst President of the United States, ever.

Just a pathetic old man who just needs to GO.

Governor Glenn Youngkin today released the following statement after President Joe Biden announced the clemency of violent criminals Ferrone Claiborne and Terence Richardson, two men who admitted to being responsible for the brutal killing of Officer Allen Gibson, a Sussex County police officer.

"I am beyond outraged and in utter disbelief that President Biden would announce clemency for Ferrone Claiborne and Terence Richardson—two men who admitted for being responsible to brutally killing Officer Allen Gibson, a hero and dedicated servant to our community," said Governor Glenn Youngkin. "What makes this even more unconscionable is the Biden U.S Attorney advised the White House not to commute these sentences as they are violent offenders. The pain and sorrow this clemency causes the Gibson family is unimaginable. To know that the men who took Officer Gibson's life will walk free is not just a grave injustice—it is a heartbreaking blow to those who continue to mourn his sacrifice. This is despicable; a grim day for justice and for the families who trust that our system will hold the guilty accountable."

Both prisoners admitted to being responsible for the brutal killing of Officer Allen Gibson in Sussex County Circuit Court. The evidence presented and the details surrounding Officer Gibson's death are deeply disturbing and tragic.

President Obama declined to grant clemency to Ferrone Claiborne and Terence Richardson. In recent weeks, the Biden White House was advised by the Biden U.S. Attorney not to commute the sentences of certain prisoners, as they were violent offenders. Under the current terms, they are set to be released in July.

I was curious so I did some research. Seems to officers own daughter supports their release and they were found not guilty of killing the officer but a judge decided they should go to prison for life anyway.

The case is nowhere as clear cut as Youngkin is trying to portray.

A Jury Found Them Not Guilty of Killing a Cop. A Judge Sentenced Them to Life Anyway.

A witness picked out another man who happened to be the brother of the person who claimed it was them.

If that’s the case, then that is a good pardon. But, it really doesn’t matter what I think. Presidential pardons are an executive privilege. January 6 pardons are coming.

Yes, read my second link. We have seen this many times. Being black and being set up they are told to take the plea deal (which was pretty light for killing a cop) or risk the death penalty.

You'll note where they were actually tried they were found NOT GUILTY.

They're black is not an excuse. It was the best the county DA could get.

Richardson pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to ten years in state prison with five years suspended. Claiborne pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge, as an accessory to Richardson’s crime.

The county attorney at the time, David Chappell, said he made those plea bargains with Richardson and Claiborne because the case was too compromised: One of the first officers to arrive on the scene was Waverly Police Chief Warren Sturrup, who picked up Gibson’s gun with his bare hands and, in doing so, tainted any fingerprints that may have been on the gun.

A misdemeanor for the assist of killing a police officer? They knew they had no case but the defendants knew it was still stacked against them.

In an actual trial they were found NOT GUILTY.
