My friend in Canada told me about this. She said a lot of tourists in Canada get mooosed the same way

Damn! How does that even happen?!
They don't range that far in a day.

The human species is calling it an "unprovoked attack" 🤣

:auiqs.jpg:That thing my cousin has on his wall. I know his wife hates it.
The head's like 5 feet long and it comes out from the wall about that far, too, right at the entryway. :auiqs.jpg:
The wall's even 45-degreed so it's lookin' at ya right when you come in.
It's either a Caribou or Mule Deer.

Cape Buffalo have a reputation for hunting hunters.

If someone is hunting , they can't complain about the prey attacking back.

A great documentary, John Wick 3, is on TV now, and there is a $14 Million bounty on his head. Those that are hunting Mr. Wick aren't whining when he clips them.

They usually don’t survive long enough to complain.

What was Al Gore doing in South Africa?

Didn't Dan Quayles wife have that hairdo?

Yeah, I wouldn't be anywhere they could get to me at all. :nono:

Good news for the animal involved. Trophy hunting should be outlawed. The "hunter" got what he deserved.

Ambushed? By a buffalo? Where could it possibly hide? Behind an elephant, perhaps? :dunno:
I'm thinking you're probably not a very good hunter if a buffalo sneaks up on you. Cape* Buffalo.
Now a buffalo used to keep Zebras from sneaking up on me while I was working.
Them things are evil. The zebra's goal is to get on either side of you and squish ya. The Buffalo was a sweetie.
She was my pasture guard dog. A little sweet feed never hurt. :D
She was big and strong, too. Even went after a yearling red bull that was going insane around me.
He was nice up until around 8 mos. Glad when he went to market.

Trophy hunting, properly managed and more importantly properly valued monetarily, can help preserve at risk species by limiting the hunt to older, non breeding animals, that would eventually die anyway of dehydration, starvation of being killed off by scavengers.

Wild animals don't die of old age peacefully in their sleep, they die either slowly and painfully, or slightly faster and painfully.
