For someone with her job, she stepped in it good this time.

just saw this. That EXTREMELY PARTISAN (like many rw'ers here ;) ) woman is sadly typical of today's hate & fear party voters. Hate 24/7 :(

Wouldn't surprise me if those scumbags on Fox & Friends didn't take any pot shots either.

She resigned the same way that Chuck Hagel resigned.

She learned the same lesson as others have. Criticism of the royal family will not be tolerated.

She's GOP so they had nothing to do with it. For someone in her former position, words matter, a lot in this case.
true, many people in those positions have to have graduate degrees or have attended top-tier schools. She should have known better BUT, as we all know, in the Rightwingo-sphere  hate trumps rationality.

She tried to backpedal a la Avatar4321 Muslim75 Jeremiah Sunni Man by praying it away :eusa_pray: . Didn't work

Of course it didn't work. She pointed out that the obama snots were classless. Criticism of the royals isn't well received.

From Forbes:

"No worries, the internet was quick to gently alert her to the errors of her ways. By alert, I mean spew so much vitriol at her you would think that she just killed the last unicorn or defended a Kardashian or some equally horrifying act."

One thing about the Internet, it doesn't take prisoners and has no problem stabbing the dead a few extra times just for the hell of it.
