There was some job creation this month or at least that is how I read the numbers which is good news but Obama only created about 50,000 new jobs because of the census and America created about 100,000 new jobs which only proves the private sector is doing it better.

Every month for the last 6 months they have done this, tried to spin bad news as good.

When companies actually start hiring and unemploment goes down, not down LESS, THEN it will be the BEGINNING of a recovery.

That still hasn't happened yet, Barry is trying to tout his modern CCC (the census takers, all temps) as 'jobs created' when its really just make work.

The BLS data show that the number of Unemployed People has increased from 14,871,000 to 15,005,000, an increase in total Unemployed of 134,000.

The increase in employment is anemic at best, and does not result in a reduction in the absolute number of unemployed. It's just statistical propaganda.

The Reality is that 15M people are unemployed - 6.5M of them for more than 6 months.

Well, things are still bleak, but they are looking better. Except for all of the people here who would prefer that more Americans be out of work so they can blame President Obama for the result of the policies they supported during the Bush years.

President Obama has been straight up about the economy from the gitgo. He has stated many times that the recovery will be slow and painful. That the damage done to the financial infrastructure by past deregulation was too deep and greivous to be cured in just a year or two.

All the more reason the pass stringent regulations on the financial institutions whose greed and idiocy created this debacle.

What they do do is to put people on the Government payroll, either as some form of welfare or as a layabout government "employee." Prosperity under Clinton was a gift of the Conservative Republican controlled Congress who wrote the laws that really stimulated the economy. And JFK followed the Reagan model of creating jobs by cutting taxes, and favoring business.
