None of that indicates that Palestine was a country. Do you want to read the Palestine Post? It existed. As did a Palestine national soccer team. Have you seen its roster? Did you know that on stamps and coins from the British mandated Palestine, the initials for "Land of Israel" are present? Claiming something is a country is different from claiming that an area had a geographic label. "North America" was never a country but I can find plenty of maps that show where it is and cite plenty of pieces of paper that have the phrase on it.

That was never true. Israel allowed Qatat to provide its own money for humanitarian needs in Gaza at a time when disputes between Hamas and the PA prevented Hamas, which was in charge of everything in Gaza was unable to pay salaries or provide needed services.
