Under my name it says Gold Member. What does that mean?

Also I notice in the place for upgrading, it says that it's not recurring subscriptions. Does that mean it would not be on auto renew?

Gold Member means you paid for the gold supporting account upgrade.

USMB doesn't auto-renew the account upgrades. To keep it, you'll need to renew it yourself.
