I read Orwell’s 1984 and Huxley’s Brave New World in school and now see their growing relevance to modern society. My generation is graying now but many of us remember how we got to where we are today.
We are living at a time when propaganda is king. What people are seeing on screens as people die in distant places in foreign wars is anyone’s guess. Some of us still have clear minds and long memories as we try to negotiate a world of crossed eyes glued to I-Phones. City leaders and local academics have destroyed any semblance of conscious awareness in the city I grew up in, so it is likely not possible to properly convey why my dad and I were digging holes in the backyard trying to store food when I was a sophomore in high school some sixty years ago. I will try.
Radioactivity as well as food scarcity were concerns to my dad and his coworkers during the Cuban Missile Crisis. JFK was forced to rattle an atomic saber at Nikita Khrushchev while Fidel Castro was building thermonuclear missile launch pads just 90 miles from the US mainland. The missiles were provided by the former Soviet Union. Kennedy’s half-baked mishandling of Eisenhower’s regime-change Bay of Pigs invasion scheme nearly ended the world as we know it with World War Three. His assassination was the result. He died the typical public hero’s death as history is written, but most of us know better. Kennedy was removed by the CIA in partnership with Mob elements using Lee Oswald and Jack Ruby as decoys. Both had undeniable connections to Cuba and were set up as patsies to take the fall for the government. Dorothy Kilgallen, a famous investigative reporter, was murdered in 1965 because she connected problematic dots implicating powerful people in the US government that were the real culprits. We came remarkably close to a nuclear catastrophe then. History appears to be repeating itself six decades later.
Khrushchev backed down in 1962 losing a battle, but the Soviet Union won the geopolitical war because we got LBJ and the Great Society. Socialist central planning descended on the US and never looked back. Even the dissolution of the Former Soviet Union in 1991 was a hollow victory. Unlike the US dollar, the Russian Ruble was not the world’s reserve currency so unlike the US it could not print its way out of economic collapse brought on by expensive, expansionist wars. The US simply fired up the printing presses and out-bet the soviets with the same funny money they are using to try and convert the United States into a new and improved de facto Soviet Union—communism done right if you will. There was no amazing ideological win for America when Ronald Reagan told Michel Gorbachev to “tear down this wall”. Washington simply replaced Moscow and adopted the basic economic elements of communism calling them the War on Poverty, and the Great Society. But the real innovation was Washington’s attack on national education both basic and advanced.
Literacy rates at many US colleges and High Schools are plummeting amid rising violence as we reap the whirlwind of scorched earth policies that attacked the basic family unit replacing it with government entitlements and generational dependence. This was a fundamental practice of both Nazi Germany and the Former Soviet Union. The home is where the real education is, but unfortunately the home was the first thing attacked by Washington in the 1960’s because as the Soviets discovered early on, it competed for allegiance with government bureaucracy.
Even a casual observer can see that millions of young women in our society have become single mothers with several children fathered by different men in a revolving door of jail and prison. People like this belong to every age but cultural pressure in a functioning society usually discourages and limits it. In the 1960’s it was quickly realized that fostering the conduct of single motherhood could grow government dependence and empower Washington as a competitor for Soviet central planning. This way a tiny nucleus of elites could enrich and empower themselves on the suffering and dependent serfdom of other lesser citizens. This was how the Soviets rolled and US professional academics along with liberal politicians wanted what the Soviets had.
The Former Soviet Union had no history of press freedom and as is happening in the US today, the press became a propaganda ministry for the government. The problem in free America is that this is a relatively recent phenomenon and there are still millions of people that for good reason do not trust the press. A national election reflected the disgust and mistrust of American mass media in 2016 when Donald Trump won the White House. American voters watched in horror as Washington presided over a concocted, false, and absurd narrative that Donald Trump was an agent of the Russian Government. The reasonable population stood aghast as Washington corrupted its intelligence agencies to take out an American candidate that was exposing its longstanding and well-established plans to sell American freedom to the People’s Republic of China. Like Sun Tzu, it patiently waits for Washington to hand over the people.
Washington’s propaganda pantheon went into overdrive to discredit Trump because he was a real and present danger to its power. But even the propaganda was not enough so a fraudulent election took place right before the eyes of the people in 2020. Trump’s anti globalist leanings were too much for Washington leadership but an assassination in these times of all-seeing technology was virtually impossible. So, suitcases and boxes of phony mail-in votes were the weapon of choice and it worked-that time.
The Chinese do not have to attack the USA. They have been in Washington buying it from US politicians for generations. They have control of most of the antibiotic ingredients in our medications and they are buying huge swaths of American farmland to get a foothold on our domestic food supply. American youth is addicted to cheap Chinese manufactured technology and is blissfully unaware that it is being manipulated by corrosive political power to steal domestic freedom or more importantly individual thought logic forbidden on college campuses. American children learn about casual, exploratory sex in grade school. American youth in the US is dying daily from the slow poison of Chinese Fentanyl flowing like sewage across open borders. This is like a cartoon. What happened to the American mind?
Where will you go when the missiles fly? Washington elites and their families have a nice network of underground tunnels to wait out the nukes.
Listen to that horse’s ass Wallace attack Rand as she tells him about will happen as the US enforces compulsory “altruism” which in not altruism at all. It is corruption:
