In his lecture "Innovating to zero" Mr. Bill Gates seems to be linking the value of each human life to our "Carbon Footprint?"

His idea is founded almost totally on the idea that the Al Gore "Carbon Tax Thesis" is the best and most effective way to address the supposed threats of climate change to all eight billion of us.

I believe on the other hand that a Carbon Tax will do essentially NOTHING to prevent ocean levels from rising and I have been advocating deliberately turning deserts green instead of any variation on a Carbon Tax. I believe that for the next decades to two centuries...
