The man was a giant, smart as a whip and cool as a cucumber. Not to pick nits or anything but give credit to Gene Krantz also, who was the mission Flight Director for Apollo 13. Lunney was part of the NASA team that made the decisions that ultimately saved the crew and brought them back home. BTW, Biden's pick, Nelson was endorsed by none other than Lil Marco. Sure probably because he won't run for Senate again but at least Nelson has some experience. Finally, we're going back to the Moon. Bout damn time.
