The More we disobey, the more events will

God will be done. Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths as long as it lies desolate and you are in your enemies' land; then the land shall rest and enjoy its sabbaths.

The planet has been in an ice age for the past 3 million years with long periods of frigid temperatures interrupted by brief periods of warmth which we are in one now. I wouldn’t get too worked up over global warming. It’s only a matter of time before thermohaline circulation gets disrupted and then you can argue the end is near because of plunging temperatures.

A shadow of things to come

Christ is the same yesterday as in time past, and the same today, forevermore.

Hebrews 13:8
They serve in a system of worship that is only a copy, a shadow of the real one in heaven. For when Moses was getting ready to build the Tabernacle, G-d gave him this warning: “Be sure that you make everything according to the pattern I have shown you here on the mountain.”

That is why the Tabernacle and everything in it, which were copies of things in heaven, had to be purified by the blood of animals. But the real things in heaven had to be purified with far better sacrifices than the blood of animals.
