I mean come on say it isn't so. We've been watching all these companies that have been in business a long time go under like Radio Shack and it looks like Sears may go under.

Gibson? Have people stopped actually doing anything physical and they are only glued to screens all day? As a guitarist I can't accept Gibson going away. They appear to be going back to instruments so let us hope this giant of the rock world hangs on.

Iconic Guitar Brand Gibson Files For Bankruptcy

Joe Bonamassa and every other guitarist that plays a Les Paul get your asses in gear and put some of your money to good use!

It's because of recent bad investment decisions, buying two Japanese companies and Royal Phillips for over $200 million. Probably Trump should have made an investment advice to the company's CEO.
  • In 2012, it bought a stake in consumer audio company Onkyo.
  • In 2013, it purchased stereo maker TEAC in 2013 for $53 million.
  • The spending spree continued in 2014, when Gibson paid $135 million to acquire Royal Phillips’s home-entertainment systems.
