germany above prussia ana bavaria etc

not germany about its neighbours

I don't have any committed to memory. But it does seem like it was intended to be sung in German. It doesn't translate all that well into English. :)
When I lived in Germany, for about 15 months, I do not recall hearing their anthem. But I was around few Germans in our own Army and out on trips I don't think it was sang.
Well today I heard it translated. It is a rather mild song that has a mild message to their citizens and for them to be good people.
