That is a local school board issue because not all schools do this. It's just like CRT and other programs that onjlt liberal schools participate in.

There is an underlying principle here that many people simply do not get.

Government workers will do what is necessary to make themselves look good. In this case, students are given grades that they didn't earn because it makes it appear that the teachers have accomplished their mission. The same principle is ubiquitous in education where, for example, HS dropout rates have been trending downward for a decade, while the students keep getting dumber (sic) and dumber. Why? Because it makes it look like the teachers are doing better, doesn't it?

In the Federal sector, they started an incentive bonus program for senior GS executives in order to incentivize excellence. But the people doing the evaluations were...wait for it...also government "executives," so within a short period, virtually all of the senior executives were getting 100% of their potential bonus. Why? Made their bosses look good, eh?

Government workers will do whatever is necessary to make themselves look good, competent, and successful. It is a fact of nature.
