Liberals aren’t even close to being in touch with reality. History is littered with intelligent people who are kind of crazy. Tesla, Newton, Intelligent people are often very good at rationalizing bad ideas and have an over-confidence in their abilities. They can be very rational in their field of study(or not) and shockingly gullible outside of it.

Intelligence gives you a more powerful engine. It doesn’t guarantee you are driving in the right direction.
