Good for him. The Wild Card show has a lot of potential. I never read teh books, but it is an interesting premise.


I hope he lives long enough to get paid. And that the networks take the production seriously, instead of just rushing though some crap.

HBO plans to release the Prequal of Game of Thrones. It will be call "House of The Dragon". This is before Daenerys Targaryen became Queen.

I can't wait to watch it! I have the all of the seasons (1-8) on DVD boxset of GOT.

I have never read his stuff nor have I ever seen his shows so he evidently is popular with the common folks so I probably won't like it.

Liked the first three seasons, then got bored with it. Same with the Dune books, after the third one it got forced and ever more stupid.

I went back and tried to re-read a lot of the science fiction and fantasy I thought was great stuff as a teenager and college student. It was pretty awful stuff in hindsight, even the Tolkien books. I think a few of the LeGuin books are still readable, but the rest, nah.
