I heard this on NPR the other day. Hopefully childhood deafness will become a thing of the past. The headline is that it worked for 80% of the cases where it was tried.

How about finding ways to promote brain neuron numbers and synapse conductivity/ connectivity ?

Would that be good ? Or, just make us a little less stupid but still stupid and more violent ?
