Decades of enforcing a caste for the benefit of dishonest cops and this is the end result. We can't support industries because our most talented leave, those in the lower caste destroyed for the benefit of police budgets.
So now in the ultra-competive global economy, Canada has nothing to offer. America is eating our lunch along with so many other nations.
We suddenly start to fund STEM programs in Ontario, only 20 years late but hey, who's paying attention. Generation Z perhaps as they see their futures already bleak.

"It's bleak," said the 23-year-old graduate of the University of Calgary's media and communications program. She hasn't been able to find a job in her field and said she intends to pursue a master's degree.
"I believe that it's tough just because of everything that's happening with the economy, with our society and with politics," she said. "There's a whole [lot] of talk about 'there's a recession coming.' I'm not an economist, but I can also see it as well."
