Well, that's new. I find it hard to believe genuine given past history, but OK.
May have something to do with Israel taking out a couple hundred HAMAS leaders
the past few days. May have emboldened the people who disagree with HAMAS.

More likely it's because they are living in tents amid the rubble of their destroyed homes with no hope of the area ever being reconstructed as long as they support Hamas and the other terrorist gangs.

If Hamas is permitting this, it is serving Hamas.
My guess is that it is intended to ensure Hamas survives (both literally and in power) post-war. When the world sees the "innocent" Gazans wanting peace, it will increase pressure on Israel to withdraw from Gaza entirely and abandon the goals of demilitarization and removing Hamas from power.

I haven't seen any indication these protesting Arabs want peace with Israel, they are just complaining about the cost of war now that they have to pay it. Hamas may be the point of the spear being aimed at Israel but the entire population of the so called Palestinians is pushing it.

There seem to be only two options: Either Hamas is permitting it, or Hamas is so weakened that people can speak freely for the first time in 20 years.
Since Gaza loves a good Pallywood flick, I'm leaning towards the former.
