Gaza's Government Media Office has documented extensive Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement in place since October 10, 2025. Over the six months to April 14, 2026, they report 2,400 breaches leading to significant casualties and humanitarian shortfalls.
Violations Breakdown
The office categorizes the 2,400 incidents as follows: 921 shootings, 97 armored vehicle incursions, 1,109 bombings or strikes, and 273 home or building demolitions. These actions resulted in 754 Palestinian deaths, including 312 children, women, and elderly, with civilians comprising 99% of fatalities; 2,100 injuries followed, over 1,096 among vulnerable groups and 99% civilians. An additional 50 Palestinians were detained from residential areas away from buffer zones.
Humanitarian Failures
Aid compliance lagged severely, with only 41,714 of 110,400 agreed trucks entering Gaza (37% rate, averaging 227 daily versus 600 required). Fuel imports reached just 14% of targets (1,366 of 9,200 trucks), Rafah Crossing allowed only 2,703 of 36,800 travelers (7% compliance), and no debris removal equipment, medical supplies, tents, or infrastructure aid was provided. Israeli forces also exceeded buffer lines, seizing further Gaza land.
