But... but... but... hasn't the LGBT community been telling us for years now, that HIV is
not predominantly a Gay-related issue?
If so, then why do they care about it, one little bit more or less than any other segment of the population - much less enough to take the
lead on the issue?
Or is it just that they're oh-so-more-caring than everybody else (
including all those goddamned insensitive Straight Folk) and bleed from the heart over this?
I have no basis in fact for making this statement - it's just a long-standing perception - but aren't most HIV-triggered spread-the-disease laws actually more generic than
just HIV?
If someone knows they have a life-threatening highly communicable disease and they consciously engage in 'interface activities' (

) without informing a partner in advance prior to '
interface decision time' and that partner contracts the disease too...
Then the Typhoid Mary or Larry in question deserves severe punishment... up to and including murder or homocide or reckless endangerment or battery charges or similar, and lots of jail time or whatever the jury decides...
