I've only watched the first episode of this series and wow! It's really good.

Murder, intrigue, action. It has it all.

There's a great bar fight in the first episode.

A man who is the equivalent of a godfather is murdered by hire. All the other gang leaders are suspects, and as far as the son of the godfather (Michael Corleone on steroids) is concerned, no more business will be done until his father's killer is found.

No drugs will be moved, no money will be laundered, and so forth.

Let the games begin!

In that theme..I liked this one a lot:

Based on this movie:

I'm six episodes in, and this show gets better and better.

Well...shit.

This series jumps the shark at the end of Season 2 Episode 2.

I won't tell you the plot twist, but it is so so stupid that it ruins the whole rest of the season.

Then in episode 3, an attack helicopter outfitted with what looks like an M134 minigun (which in real life fires up to 6,000 rounds per minute) attacks a house in the suburbs. The sound in the show is nothing like the humongous roar a gun like that makes.

And none of the neighbors notice this attack helicopter spewing gunfire down on the folks down the street?

This is just pure laziness compared to episode 5 in the first season.

Oh, well.

Season 1 is a winner, though. Episode 5 is the best of all.

Watched the first 2 eps... it is pretty decent. A little confusing, the show gives little background to characters, so you don't always understand what is happening because of it.
And the kid that takes over the gang, is a bit over the top with his sullen whining.

Essex Boys based on a true story was a good one, then a whole series of movies followed called Rise of the foot Soldiers all good.

This clip is part four of Rise of the foot soldiers.
