Frankfurt Green Sauce on Maundy Thursday

Here is the US of A, we call that "salsa verde." It has more of a bite, but I suppose it would go well with those sour kraut and wurst tacos you Germans have managed to come up with.

we had it again this year!

Are you referring to chimichurri sauce?

"Chimichurri Sauce: This vibrant green sauce is originally from Argentina and Uruguay and traditionally features parsley, oregano, garlic, olive oil, and red wine vinegar. However, you can add cilantro and basil to the mix for a unique twist, according to Meghan Telpner. Blend all the ingredients in a food processor until finely chopped and well blended. Chimichurri pairs well with grilled meats, vegetables, pasta, and more."
