Jesuits have always been an interesting bunch, and have often bucked the standard Vatican way of doing things.

Jesuits are the Navy Seals of the Catholic Church. 12 years required training regardless of your prior education or degree standing. Had a deacon mistake me for one resting in my car taking naps in church parking lots. Though because of how they're trained to get by in foreign countries I was doing something like that. Nope, just a Jew resting on 'holy ground.'
