Depends if they use only tactical...if they bring out the bad boys 40,50, even 100 megaton....you can start getting ready to die no matter where you are. Russia reportedly has charge capacities as high as 100...that is mind blowing....several of those any where near the equator will doom the entire agricultural ecosystem.

Here's a 100 meg charge that was stifled down to 50 because they were afraid the pilots wouldn't get away in time.


Just to give you a clue...that mushroom cloud is over 40 miles tall in just 30 seconds.

One poster here adeptly pointed out that he saw no evidence of a real tank war using Russia's most modern tanks. I had no idea until he pointed that out. This includes the majority of the other vehicles used as well.

Russia began this war with just under 3,000 combat capable tanks. About 1200 were upgraded since 2010. Ukraine had about 840, half of which were upgraded versions.

Russia has not sent everything they have to Ukraine, but right now Ukraine has more tanks in the fight than Russia does.
