What the fucks wrong with you? Economies as big as the US economy don't turn bad overnight. It takes years of scams, schemes and mismanagement. Republicans had both houses and the presidency for six straight years and Democrats never had complete control of the Senate and the Republican president could veto.

So shut the fuck up until you have something worth saying.

OK. I'm kind of bored with the constant 'Republicans did it', 'no it was the Democrats'.... so, here's a few economics made simple for the simple minded on both sides:

The underlying cause of the global recession (and it was and is 'global' - it's not all about us).... was a massive imbalance between countries like China, Germany and Japan consuming too little (particular given the size of their economies) and countries like the US, UK, Spain, and others consuming too much. This excess savings of those low spending countries were 'recycled' by a very dysfunctional global financial system. Thus, it was only a matter of time until a minor local problem - such as the sub prime fiasco - ignited a cascading set of problems around the world.

So, those of us who care more about truth and reality than partisan bullshit, recognize that this was no more Bush's 'fault' than Obama's or any other individual or US political party.

I do wish y'all could be a tad more rational about this shit.
