Ron Paul argued the same thing against Guiliani during the 2008 elections. He even cited CIA reports that stated that was their reasoning for attacking us. Both Republicans and Democrats laughed him off as a kook during that election. He was the sanest politician in Washington at the time. Both sides hold blame for our current situation.

I usually hold the belief that we should mind our own business, but ISIS is a special situation. Al Qaeda has never claimed to want to take over the world, and install a caliphate. ISIS must be stopped, and obviously many Muslim countries recognize that.
That's why we have so many working with us at this point. We should decimate this organization, and pull out of the region. We are wasting money, and wasting lives.
