Floyd ate too many drugs. He would have died even if left sitting with his back to a building wall. He hastened his own death in struggling with the officers when he was later being out into the vehicle. The thug killed himself. It was neither for me
Sept 24 (Reuters) - Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has filed notice that he will appeal his conviction and sentence for the murder of George Floyd, arguing that the judge in his case abused his discretion and made multiple errors during the trial.

He should, that judge overstepped, the officer performed according to the training he was given. George Floyd resisted arrest and had a criminal record.
Are you kidding?he didn't do anything wrong, the country is slowly giving our worst class of offenders a pass while prosecuting the ones trying to protect us.
Acquittal is coming as he only followed the training he received prior to the incident. George Floyd died from a drug overdoseAre you kidding?
And here is the end result. He is going to spend 15 years behind bars, for murder.
You republicans are always clamoring about letting violent offenders out and how they repeat offend. Should we make him stay in jail for life?

Well, naturally, because he's a cop. There's service of process in the court of appeals, and he's got protection in prison, they let him out as soon as the coast is clear, and he can give BLM the slip, and get out of town before they kill him. But the rest of us, who aren't cops, we don't get any defense or appeals. Here's the deal, according to the D.A., and your public defender pleads you either guilty or mentally ill, or else you've got to sell your house and assets and everything to hire a private defense attorney, and you're even worse off than with a public defender in that case, once the court system has gotten hold of your pocketbook. It's part of the system and his right to do.

So you can afford a private defense attorney, and pay out of pocket for the same thing, no better, and you're just all the worse off because you've got to pay money to be pled guilty / mentally ill / insane just as if you had a public defender, but now you're even poorer than anybody on welfare, because you had to pay out of pocket and front a much bigger cash bail, brake hoses slashed, tire knifed on the way to your court date don't expect any sympathy from a judge if you ain't a cop yourself. The public defender system is corrupt but that really has nothing to do with what I said.
