Former County Clerk Kim Davis Is Making The Headlines Again.

Actually the bible , torah, and Quran would support polygamy.
Meaning the Clarence Thomas historical right principle would be unable to ban polygamy.

Polygamy has a stronger case than Same Sex Marriage.

You would define it as both the capable and the handicapped have equal use of the stairs.

Nope, again the comparison simply doesn't work.

Does a handicapped person have the right to force me to install ramps in my own house?

Which is my point.
Polygamy from a divorce/probate position, is completely unworkable. It would tie up the courts for years or even decades.
Where same sex marriage is treated by the courts just like every marriage that came before it.

Depends what you use your house for.
If you use it as a public accommodation, then the answer is probably "yes".

Societies have handled it in the past, so your point isn't as concrete as you think.

And why just because "it's easy for the courts" does that make it all of a sudden "equal"?

The true definition of "public accommodation" or the "any time money changes hands" definition of public accommodation?

None of those societies viewed women as having any rights. So there were no rights to distribute.
Today women are equals, and would thus have to have equitable distributions. Which is easy when you can split it 50/50. But Polygamy might make it 20/20/20/20/20

the fundamental Latin legal maxim, ubi jus ibi remedium, which means "where there is a right, there is a remedy".

Marbury v. Madison: In the U.S., Chief Justice Marshall famously affirmed this principle in the case of Marbury v. Madison (1803), stating that for every violation of a right, there must be a remedy.

The public accommodation definition of public accommodation.

If that is all true, what then is really being addressed in Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13?

God bless you always!!!

Holly
That's Old Testament.

Leviticus calls homosexuality and eating shellfish and pork an abomination equally. Do you shun shrimp and pork roast and bacon for fear of going to hell?

So I really don't know what your point is.

It is surprising how many alleged Christians are unfamiliar with the Bible and that Jesus said nothing about gays.

He had a lot to say about hypocrites and adulterers like unrepentant Kim Davis and Donald Trump, but you never hear a word about that from these alleged Christians.

.

^^^ Eating certain foods is not a lifestyle like homosexuality is.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Not everyone eats just anything anyway.

Go here to learn about what is going on with her now. The write up says that she has been divorced three times. I would like to know why. To me, if her husbands messed around on her in any way, I don't blame her for getting a lawyer.

God bless and Ms. Kim always!!!

Of a right.

I don't see SSM as a right.

The public accommodation definition of public accommodation.

That definition has been bastardized so much it is meaningless. It's gone over to the "any time money changes hands", which was never the purpose of the laws.
