Former Capitol Police officer a forensic match for Jan. 6 pipe bomber, sources say

No one has any idea how this matches up to historical forms of identifying
I'm pretty sure that it's never been used before. It was only recently that gait could be used to identify a person. But how many people have a similar walk?

It's purely one of many identifiers, along with other forensic finds. Some like finger prints, DNA etc.. are exact, others point resources into more specific persons of interest.

Meh...there could be thousands of people of the same body size with a similar gait.

Seams like talking with this person would be a good idea. Did they even try? What happened?

While my gut tells me that the deep state was involved in all the uglies that happened on J6, I have no proof. And I would need a source more objective than "The Blaze" citing unnamed sources to accept that as a convincing argument/condemnation.

And to name an uncharged/unindicted person as the criminal I think is very wrong.

That doesn't mean that I don't believe it was deep state operatives that generated everything bad that happened on J6 and/or that keep dishonestly promoting that as a MAGA offense.

But I do think we must be intellectually honest and require the same degree of verifiable evidence for accusations from our side that we require of them.

They should check to see, if her cell phone in the area at the time.

A person gait isn't exactly as original as fingerprints or DNA.

Actually, it might be, given the comprehensive enough computer analysis.

Analyzed down to the small enough details, each person's gait is affected by so many bodily and health issues that it might be possible to individualize a person's gait to a pretty high level of certainty.

The gait has therefore narrowed the search down to thousands. Then the person's build narrows it down further, and so on.

I don't disagree, but, did I say but? But, it's not going to get to the other levels of individual characteristics. A good impressionist can copy someone else's walk. That's simply not fingerprint level.
