There was a violent government response to a protest against the quota system in this country (killed up to 1400 protestors) which gives job to specific groups, which is affirmative action, albeit this is more favoritism and cronyism than anything.
The 78 yr old PM fled to India, which makes me wonder if this woman is Muslim. Would a Muslim country elect a non-Muslim woman as PM? She will probably live out her days like Assad is in Russia right now, only she is much older.
