First of all, I do not believe a word from this lying, leftist turd. If a wing of your ideology (Islam) has been notoriously engaged in trying to destroy western civilization with terror, murder, and bombings, then you are going to catch a certain amount of flack, and you should. You should because you should have to explain and justify your association with bloodthirsty killers.

Also, this is not equivalent to any sect or offshoot of Christianity, so don’t be stupid and go there. Nobody even comes close to engaging in global terrorism as Jihadists.

You would think that New Yorkers would generally be outraged at this shit-bag’s comment. Some probably are, but not nearly enough. There is an entire generation of voters today who were not alive during 9/11, the Cold War, etc…

The Islamophobia was real at the time of 9/11. Shortly after 9/11, my insurance adjuster husband needed an expert to appraise some very high value merchandise and flew in a specialist from California to do that. The man who came was an Arab American and said he and his wife were concerned for his safety. Said the tensions were so thick you could feel them everywhere for people like him. Even though he and his wife were as dismayed and angry over 9/11 as anybody else.

I don't doubt that it might have been worse in NYC at that time. But it was short lived and passions fairly quickly returned to normal as they usually always do when common sense and reason take over from initial normal reactions.

But Mamdani was barely 10 years old at the time of 9/11. I doubt seriously he was significantly affected, if at all, by any of that. And certainly to use it now as a justification to bash Christianity or anything else good about America is just wrong.

I do understand you are simply repeating what you have been told, but the facts show that nobody hijacked any airline jets that day. The 2 aircraft that struck the towers were drone aircraft, no pilots no passengers onboard.

No airliner at the Pentagon, no airliner at Shanksville.
