The reason I doubt an ER doctor less than an examiner is because the job is less political in nature. ER personnel don't have the time for politics.

There is a caveat to their findings, however. An ER doctor is only going to be working with details that are immediately apparent. Examiners and pathologists have the time to more rigorously analyze the evidence. The downside to this, however, is that more time allows for more manipulation as well. More time also allows for politics to get in the way.

An examiner whose investigation is the center of a very controversial case is going to feel pressure to maintain the narrative, especially if his/her personal information is available to the public. The angry mob may target him/her if the "wrong" conclusion is announced.

That's a cop out, you folks want Chauvin to walk so bad you will come up with any kind of bullshit you can.

Ultimately, whether Chauvin walks or not has no bearing on my life. And to be clear, even if Floyd turns out to have died from a drug overdose and heart condition rather than the knee technique, it doesn't mean that Chauvin is in the free and clear. Fearing that black literacy would prove a threat to the slave system whites in the Deep South passed laws forbidding slaves to learn to read or write and making it a crime for others to teach them. For example, in 1740 South Carolina passed the following legislation: "Whereas, the having slaves taught to write, or suffering them to be employed in writing, may be attended with great inconveniences; Be it enacted, that all and every person and persons whatsoever, who shall hereafter teach or cause any slave or slaves to be taught to write, or shall use or employ any slave as a scribe, in any manner of writing whatsoever, hereafter taught to write, every such person or persons shall, for every such offense, forfeit the sum of one hundred pounds, current money."

Now...generations have passed and blacks are catching up with the education deficit. But it is going to take decades before they will be on the same level as whites.
