For thise who call me lazy or a mooch, here's my latest lazy gig

I did concrete removal today
Concrete demo sucks ass. Hate it with a passion. Even the lightweight shit with the chicken wire in it. Haydite I think they call it? Fireproofing & sound proofing bullshit. It always ends up being a tangled fucking mess from all the wire mesh. And dusty as western Kansas to boot. HATE IT
I tend to stay away from that crap and let the desperate handle it. I only do small repair or remodel and gave up doing whole house or commercial buildings. After forty years I am tired. I was glad they put all those small pieces on a netting instead of the ancient method of laying each piece.

I could of saved you a bundle.....

I have a bid out right now on 3000 foot of it. Demo it all out. Rebuild with lumber then install marble.
Part of me hopes I don't get it lol. It's a 3 peat customer too. Just finished his new porch earlier...

It's almost done!

Ripped out a wall, small shower, old tile floor and old jacuzzi.
Put in a heated floor and doubled the shower size with dual valves and led lighted recessed soap niches. Still got a big ass free standing air jet tub to put in.

Here's mine. Not yet complete. Have to finish skimming the walls, build a new vanity, install a shelving unit where the extra door leading into the master bedroom currently is then of course install baseboard and paint.
Also move the medicine cabinet into the small side wall and hang a full sized mirror.

Holy cow, your plumbing fixtures in the shower look the same as mine.

Did yours look like this pre installed?

Yup, could be the same manufacturer, Embather. I think they're European but don't quote me on that. The only real complaint I have is the shower arm really doesn't hold the head completely level, it droops a bit but it pumps out water like a heavy rain. The wide flat tap releases water at a phenomenal rate and the wife loves the deep, wide tub. Had to build the step because we ain't that young any more and getting over the tub edge was slightly problematic........

Yeah those kinds of arms need extra reinforcement for the weight.

Pro tip:

If you want to fix the droop take a garden hose and cut 1 inch pieces then split them and wrap them behind the scussion around the pipe until its tight to the tile. Then silicone them to keep them from vibrating out and put your scussion back on.

Presto! Straight pipe
