I just came up with this idea......it is an act of resistence to radical muslim ideology......something we have been told we must do if we are ever going to have peace with muslims......this is the concept......women from around the world should pick one day......put on a burka, march to a public place, take off the burka and burn it.....to show young muslim women that they do not have to submit to male muslim oppression forever......

Reminds me of these goofy girls and a few guys at school last year. They got this idea from their social work prof that they'd be homeless. The prof told them to experience it, to see what it feels like.

So they get some lawn chairs and pop-ups. They go downtown at 6pm and set up, complete with bottled water and some fast food. They play music, chat, and laugh. I doubt any slept, even tho they brought pillows and blankets.

They were all gone by 6am the next day. A whole 12 hours of "homelessness."

If you would look at what women wore in Iran before the Islamic takeover, the women wore conventionally western clothing. Burning Burkas will do nothing. Their numbers are growing more rapidly every year. This nation will just become another notch in the Islamic takeover of the west.
Only forcibly driving them out can solve it, but the Constitution is a suicide pact when it comes to the freedom of religion. I may be mistaken but I believe only three nations have completely banned Islam within their borders.
