As you should very well KNOW, I lived and worked in China for 20+ years - going there again in July, so I don't need to watch some ridiculous anti-China bull on some video, especially not those done by religious sectarian nut cases, who don't even live in China.

Remember the CCP produced its own Made In China version that may have been worse than useless

I also have a direct personal connection to the Director of a Shanghai hospital and 4 Doctors - their accounts/numbers match the official Chinese figures. Which are as everyone knows very low compared to countries like the USA who didn't do shit about confining Covid.

And just as in Europe and the USA - the overwhelming majority of people who died due to Covid - were above 65 years old and had already suffered via other medical complications - so if "OLD people" died in vast majority it FACTUALLY (don't come up now with empathy bull) - it doesn't have an impact onto the birth rate - but simply onto a reduced population count. Which in China was logically very low due to drastic quarantine measures.

Another personal friend is a headmaster of a large Chinese high-school in Shanghai around 4600 students- where by the way my wife was a teacher till July last year - and no kids went missing due to death by Covid upon resuming school. However the number of newly enrolled students in primary classes in 2024 has reduced by around 20% compared to the previous year. Simply due to a lesser birth rate and the LOGICAL impact of a 35 years lasting one child policy, however solely confined to CITY registered people not to urban registered families.

Foremost due to Covid - public strolling and shopping went to almost zero and was replaced via on-line shopping platforms, far more efficient and perfected in China then Europe. Therefore many shopping malls have shut down or are rather deserted as compared to before Covid - the same issue can also be observed in Germany, were traditional road shopping has drastically declined - so now some Falung Gong asshole will come up and claim tens of millions of Germans have died due to Covid - whilst showing rather empty pedestrian zones in Germany - as compared to before Covid.

What e.g. the CPC is not hiding but placing restrictions onto social-media gossip platforms, are reports connected to a rising number of suicides amongst students - simply due to social-media harassment, and a horrendous school performance pressure compared to the USA or European countries - whilst e.g. Singapore, S-Korea, Taiwan and Japan face the exact same problem.
