Interesting for sure. Things sure have changed. They had separate classes for the blues, segregated from the main student body. Somewhere down the line, lawsuit I guess but they couldn't segregate them anymore, then moved them into the classrooms where they were completely lost, for the most part. Much he discussed with other colors and learning issues wasn't really dealt with.

I hear this complaint all the time from teachers and parents... all kids get dumped into the same class and it was not like that when I was in school... they had short buses and bungalow classrooms for special needs students and another for English language challenged....
And it worked fine... I mean this is a clusterfuck....

I saw this and it's so, so good--and so true. What RFK Jr says is true: every single class almost without exception has kids with autism in them. And so many more issues.

It's all the IDEA and Special Ed laws. We hit a sweet spot in the late 90s I would say, but now the pendulum has swung much too far in the other direction.
