We hate the justice system too. I'm sure the justice system is frustrated too. We lock more people up than any other country. We also have more gun violence. What is wrong with us? But so people on both sides of the isle lobby to let prisoners out, even violent criminals. They/we/I believe in rehabilitation. But our prisons don't teach that. And they don't separate the criminals we are afraid of from the criminals we are mad at.

It's not fair to blame "liberal" prosecutors. Are you a lawyer? Do you know how hard it is to prove 1st degree murder? With very little evidence? And how much time and money it would take? So prosecutors cop a lot of pleas. I don't like it because cold blooded murderers get out in 10 or 20 years. Sometimes 5. It's sad I agree. If you want to reform the justice system I'm with you.
